Converting Textured Images into Vector

The original jpeg supplied was quite bad quality and because it was made up lots of small speckles, it would have been very difficult to redraw as it appeared. So we suggested to our client that we could redraw a simplified version, eliminating all of the complex texture effects. This would also make it more suitable for reproduction purposes in future for other medium types.
