Warner Brothers Logo History: Comparing Design Changes

Before you start

This is a comparison task, not a reproduction task. To follow the history of the Warner Brothers logo, you only need a set of reference stills or screen captures from official films, title sequences, or studio materials that you are allowed to view. You do not need special software: the verification is visual, and all processing can happen locally on your device.

Treat older captures as historical documents rather than color-accurate sources. Early film prints, VHS transfers, DVD menus, and compressed web previews can shift blue tones, crop the shield, or add sharpening that was not part of the original artwork.

How files are handled

Logo Lab opens the files you choose only inside your browser tab. Images are not uploaded, sent to a server or stored by this site, and no AI service is called. Closing or reloading the page discards them.

Limits keep the page responsive: up to 5 MB for logos and 10 MB for other images, up to 4096 px per side. SVG files are treated as untrusted: scripts, event handlers, embedded pages and external references are removed, and the result is only shown as an image.

Embedding in articles: put a paragraph containing only [lab:palette], [lab:contrast], [lab:before-after] or [lab:editor] into an article and the matching tool appears in its place.
